Coverage Guide:

• Flat Roofs: (Length × Width) ÷ 3

• Apex Roofs: ((Length × Width) × 1.3) ÷ 3

• Includes extra shingles for the starter row and ridge coverage.

Installation Advice:

• Each tile includes a bitumen strip that bonds under solar heat.

• For cold weather installations, shingle glue is highly recommended—especially on:

  • Ridge tiles

  • Leading edge tiles

  • All tiles on lower-gradient roofs (under 10°)

Optional Underlay:

IKO now recommends using IKO Glass Fibre Underlay (Type 3B) beneath shingles for added protection. While not traditionally required for garden buildings, it provides peace of mind against potential uplift or water ingress.
