Log cabin extras

Our list of optional extras to customise your log cabin is extensive but there are a few which are absolutely essential.

Storm kit and felt glue - Essential to protect your residential log home from the often harsh elements of the Irish weather.

Guttering -Divert water away from your log cabin with this essential addition.

Treatment – It is essential that log cabins are treated immediately after assembly and before any contact with rain water. Only use recommended treatment. We recommend Sikkens paint (which has a thickness of at least 100-120 microns) applied by a painter with experience of treating log cabins. Never thin the paint or use cheap alternatives as they will not protect your cabin from the elements.

Other items which we highly recommend for your log cabin have felt and shingles for roofing.
