Coverage Guide:

• Flat Roofs: (Length × Width) ÷ 3 = Number of packs needed

• Apex Roofs: ((Length × Width) × 1.3) ÷ 3 = Approximate packs needed (includes ridges and double starter row)

Installation Notes:

• Each shingle includes a bitumen strip that adheres with solar heat

• Shingle Glue is recommended for:

  • Ridge tiles

  • First leading edge row

  • Cold or windy environments

• Shingles not recommended for roof slopes under 10° unless:

  • Roofing felt or membrane is applied underneath

  • Glue is used on every tile

  • Overlap is increased

Optional Underlay:

IKO recommends an underlay membrane such as IKO Glass Fibre Underlay 20m (Type 3B) for added protection. Although not essential for garden buildings, adding a membrane ensures your structure stays dry even if shingles lift during harsh weather.
