Treatment:

Being Larch this building does not need to be treated and will weather similar to oak. However, if you appreciate the distinctive colour and wish to preserve this we recommend a clear treatment such as our Carefree Protect. Of course, solid colours can also be used if you would like to paint it a solid colour.

We highly recommend roof shingles with your log cabin: The overall finish is transforming your product into a superior log cabin. Shingles will last for a minimum of 15 years and it is very unlikely you will ever need to replace them. Please note roof felt will need replaced regularly every 2 – 3 years.
